Maggie is an exceptional and creative barber with 25 years of experience. She is also an educator and barbering instructor.
Maggie graduated in 1995 from Vocational Hairdressing College in Poland. After 12 years of working in one of the Top-Class Old-School Barbershop in her hometown, she traveled to Ireland and became a proud team member of the world-famous @waldorf_barbers in Dublin, working with Linda Finnegan and her father - The Godfather of Barbering, Liam Finnegan. From there, in 2008 she moved into Finnegan Barbershop, back then known as The Waldorf in Grattan Crescent, Inchicore. She's been cutting hair in Inchicore village ever since. Two years ago, Maggie together with her sister, Monika, opened The Gents Den Barbershop in Inchicore, and after the lockdown, they decided to move and reopen the business in a beautiful, more spacious place, in 203 Tyrconnell Road, to be able to welcome their customers in a safe environment. Today, Maggie is continuing her adventure as a Barber and Educator in a new @the_gents_den_barbershop & School of Barbering
Monika, Maggie’s sister is a Barber with 10 years of experience, trained by Linda Finnegan and Maggie herself in the Waldorf - Finnegans Barbershop in Inchicore.
After her training, Monika spent another 4 years of gaining her experience in Dublin working often with customers who did not speak English just yet - that’s how she achieved a unique communication skill and is now specializing in dealing with customers who struggle with the language barrier. After spending another 3 years working in one of the Top Class barbershops in Dublin city centre she decided to join Maggie in her journey and work with her in Inchicore.
Monika is also an Educator and co-owner of The Gent's Den Barbershop and School of Barbering.
